1. Purpose

The Code of Ethics establishes the ethical principles and professional standards governing all activities of Oxford Professional Education & Certification.

This Code applies to:

  • Faculty and assessors
  • Employees and management
  • Learners and members
  • Partners, affiliates, and representatives

2. Core Ethical Principles

2.1 Integrity

All stakeholders shall act honestly, transparently, and responsibly in all professional and academic activities.

2.2 Professional Competence

Programs, assessments, and certifications must reflect genuine competence, not misrepresentation or false claims.

2.3 Fairness & Non-Discrimination

OPEC promotes equal opportunity and does not tolerate discrimination based on gender, race, nationality, religion, disability, or any protected characteristic.

2.4 Confidentiality

All personal, academic, and organizational information must be treated with confidentiality and respect.

2.5 Accountability

Stakeholders are accountable for their actions, decisions, and professional conduct.

3. Academic & Professional Integrity

  • Plagiarism, cheating, falsification, or misrepresentation is strictly prohibited
  • Assessment processes must be objective and transparent
  • Certifications must reflect actual performance and competence

4. Conflict of Interest

  • Disclose actual or potential conflicts of interest
  • Avoid activities that compromise impartiality
  • Act in the best interest of learners and the organization

5. Ethical Conduct Expectations

Unethical behavior includes but is not limited to:

  • Fraud or misrepresentation
  • Harassment or abuse
  • Bribery or inducement
  • Misuse of OPEC name, logo, or certification

Violations may result in disciplinary action, suspension, termination, or revocation of certification.

6. Reporting Ethical Concerns

Ethical concerns or violations may be reported confidentially to OPEC. Reports will be handled fairly and without retaliation.

7. Enforcement

  • Disciplinary measures
  • Termination of engagement
  • Withdrawal of certification or membership
